After a decade in HR, I knew there had to be a better way to do things; one that truly works for both people and the business.
That belief is exactly why I founded Honey HR.
I’ve been CIPD qualified since 2016 and I am an ACAS trained investigator. I have spent my career supporting organisations through growth, change and challenge. Along the way, I’ve seen the very best (and the very worst) of HR.
It’s why I champion a people experience–led approach, where culture, inclusivity and clear communication sit alongside strong commercial and operational thinking.
I’ve worked across hospitality, retail, private sector, public sector, NHS, education and charity organisations, including DHL and TUI. I’ve also spent years working in complex, highly regulated environments — so I’m very comfortable with the serious, complicated side of HR and people management.
I’m not just an HR person, I’ve also owned and successfully sold my own hospitality business, so I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the table. To make payroll, manage people, deal with absence, handle difficult situations and make decisions when there are a hundred other things competing for your attention.
That combination of senior HR expertise and real business experience is what shaped Honey HR.
I truly believe that HR should be a growth function, not a last resort and my aim is to help leaders feel confident, supported and equipped to build workplaces where people can thrive and where businesses can succeed sustainably.
