Who's behind Honey HR

I’m really glad you’re here, it usually means you care about the people in your business!

After a decade in HR, I knew there had to be a better way to do things; one that truly works for both people and the business.

That belief is exactly why I founded Honey HR.

I’ve been CIPD qualified since 2016 and I am an ACAS trained investigator. I have spent my career supporting organisations through growth, change and challenge. Along the way, I’ve seen the very best (and the very worst) of HR. It’s why I champion a people experience–led approach, where culture, inclusivity and clear communication sit alongside strong commercial and operational thinking.

Alongside my HR career, I’ve also owned and ran a successful hospitality business (which I’ve since sold). That experience gave me first-hand insight into the realities faced by business owners and leaders - the pressure, the pace, and the weight of responsibility that comes with employing people.

The combination of commercial insight and people expertise shapes Honey HR.

I’ve worked across large private organisations such as DHL and TUI, as well as public sector environments including the NHS and education and even in the charity sector. I’m comfortable operating in complex, regulated settings, but I’ll always have a soft spot for hospitality and retail.

 

​HR should be a growth function, not a last resort and my aim is to help leaders feel confident, supported and equipped to build workplaces where people can thrive and where businesses can succeed sustainably.
